Less bureaucracy

Chalk up a small victory in the fight for reducing bureaucracy.

In January, when the Education Bill was being debated in the House of Lords, it appeared they were so favourable towards the proposed school profile that - rather than use it to replace the governors report and annual parents meeting - they were inclined to keep all three.

SHA campaigned vigorously for the original proposal - and it looks as though the DfES have agreed to stand firm on supporting the school profile. Time will tell!
