Two pay-related guidance documents available online

ASCL has published two documents on the website to support members on pay and funding issues.

The first is a model pay policy, which helps schools meet the requirement for a statutory pay policy, including arrangements for pay appeals.

Each school should, of course, formulate its own policy after due consultation with staff and union representatives. However, this policy provides a comprehensive starting point.

ASCL has also published detailed guidance on the new post-16 funding and planning arrangements for school sixth forms. It explains the planning process, the detail of the new funding formula and how to use it. The LSC is sending a copy of the ASCL guidance to all relevant providers.
