Supporting Street to School initiative

To mark the first anniversary of its rebrand and new name in the UK and across the globe, ASCL's partner Aviva is launching its Street to School campaign. This is a fantastic global initiative with the aim of reaching 500,000 kids worldwide - helping them get off the streets and back into education.

As part of its fundraising activity, Aviva will donate 5 per cent of premiums of all new home and car insurance policies purchased by ASCL members between 1 June and 31 August. The money will go to help children on the streets in the UK who live in fear of disease, abuse, exploitation and violence, and help them to get back into school, college or other training.

Every year in the UK, 100,000 children run away because they're unwanted, unloved or abused. Many are never reported missing. That's why Aviva has chosen to partner Railway Children - the only charity working right across the UK with these vulnerable children.

Aviva's Street to School programmes around the world recognise that every child living and working on the street has the right to fulfil their potential. Together we'll champion the needs of street children and support them back into school or training.
