New field officers at ASCL
With no sign of slow down in membership growth, ASCL has appointed four new field officers to keep up with members' requests for personal support.
Joining the field officer team in May were Lesley Cooper in Suffolk and David Thompson in Northumberland. Lesley comes from headship at Lea Manor High School in Luton and David retired as head of Haydon Bridge High School in 2003.
Ross Phillips will come on board on 1 September. He lives in Gloucester and is soon to retire from headship of Monks Park School in Bristol.
In a new, full-time post of north-west regional field officer, we are pleased to have appointed Ed Collins, a Council member and head of Todmorden High School until the end of the term. He takes up his role on 1 September. As well as field officer duties, Ed will be supporting ASCL branch secretaries in the region.
