SHA Field Officer - Midlands area (Leics, Notts, Glos, Lincs, Northants, Oxfordshire, Rutland, Warwicks, Worcs) starting September 2005.

Field officers undertake casework with individual members, together with other tasks appropriate to their skills. They are paid a retainer of £3,000 per annum, plus a daily rate when on SHA duties, with reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses.

They are not normally required to work during principal school holidays. Applicants should reside in the West Midlands.

The post would suit a recently retired leader or administrator with a strong interest in professional issues.
