Standards for teachers

The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is asking for comments from schools as part of a review of the current standards for classroom teachers - QTS, Induction, Senior Teacher (threshold) and AST - and developing standards for the Excellent Teacher Scheme. The consultation started on 30 September and the first stage will be analysed in mid-November so you may wish to respond soon.
