Marks for good behaviour
Good practice guidance on behaviour, titled What Works in Schools, has been published by the DfES stakeholder group on school behaviour and attendance.
ASCL is a member of the group, which is following up the recommendations of the practitioners' group chaired by Sir Alan Steer.
The new guidance follows on from the Steer report Learning Behaviour and offers advice to schools on how to develop their own policies and practices on behaviour.
